CD Redding was involved in this project 8 years prior to breaking ground, which allowed our team to implement cost saving measures both in the pre-construction and during construction of the building. As a non-profit, it was important to work with UGM during the budgeting process to allow them to adequately fundraise.

The Union Gospel Mission Men’s Shelter facility includes the following: 224 emergency shelter beds and 76 program beds, chapel, classrooms, commercial kitchen, butcher shop, dry storage, dining, day use space, counseling offices, and the UGM administrative offices. Working closely together with the UGM leadership and the architect facilitated a smooth building process.
